This is the same problem I have when trying to install my cd on both my win 7 and win 10 PC. I've tried setting compatability to WinXP SP 2/3, Run as Admin but once I acknowledge the allow program to make changes it just disappears. However when I do that on my Win 10 PC the program fails to run. According to the readme if I want to use Civ 3 Classic I should go to the directory and start the executable there. I've never had PTW or Conquest just regular Civ 3. When running Civ 3 Complete using the launcher everything seems to work fine but it is apparently running Civ 3 Conquest. Kittbo: Not to long ago I tried installing my Civ 3 CD on my Win 10 Pc but was unable to get it running so when I saw the Civ 3 Complete here on GOG I jumped on it.
